As specimens and tissues processed vary in size and shape, different instrument configurations are available. Each work area configuration is delivered as a complete kit with thermo plate or incubation tub, specimen tray, accessories and operation software. Changing configurations just takes a few seconds.
Sample rack configurations:
Work area kit for medium baskets:
Up to 2x 48 baskets with 10 mm diameter, e.g. for fish, chicken, mouse and medium-sized vibratome sections
Work area kit for large baskets:
Up to 2x 24 baskets with 14 mm diameter, for large vibratome sections and large specimens
Work area kit for slides:
For 2x 25 standard slides (75 mm x 25 mm x 1.0 mm or 76 mm x 26 mm x 1.0 mm)
Specimen size:
0.06-12 mm for whole mounts and vibratome sections
Number of buffer vials:
16, incl. heated and cooled buffer positions
Number of individual probes:
Hybridization has to be performed outside the instrument

The BiolaneTM HTI 16V is operated by a graphical Windows CE™ based software running on an internal PDA.
